There is nothing better than piping hot fresh bagels on every flavour on Saturday morning.
After spending two hours at the gym, I get to come home to fresh Montreal style bagels from St. Lawrence Market's St. Urbain Bagel.

It is truly worth the walk to Front and Church.

If you go across the street you can buy fresh eggs from an old couple who has a farm in Port Perry, and you can get some great straight from the farm vegetables for cheap! The later you go in the day the cheaper the vegetables (lettuce for a $1)

And by late in the day I mean no later than 1pm. They start to close up shop soon after that.

Buying local feels good and tastes even better!
